In addition to sending documents by post, Bing can also send via Email, Fax and SMS transports.

Prerequisites
In order to use email as a document transport you need the following:
- An extractable email address in your document.
- A server side email template, either plain text or HTML.
Email Templates
An email template is comprised of several components which must be configured:
Envelope Sender is the email address used by email servers for returning undeliverable messages.
From Address is the email address that the email appears from, and that recipients can reply to.
Subject can be a mixture of static text and/or variable data supplied in the mailing.
Receipt Notification Y/N - Requests a read receipt.
Attachment Label can be a mixture of static text and/or variable data supplied in the mailing.
Body of the email message which can include a mixture of static text and/or variable data. You can also choose to use HTML. HTML makes other features available such as Post my Document.
To create your email template contact Bing Customer Service with your requirements and layout.
Variable Data Fields:
Reference, Email From, Account ID, Department, Title/Subject, Postal Line1, Postal Line2, Time, Document Hyperlink and Post my Document.
Extracting Email Addresses
To send to an email address you must first include it in your document for extraction. The email field looks for email: and is case insensitive. Data after this marker is extracted and used as the email address.

Extracted address are prioritised in the following order: SMS, Fax, Email, Postal.
If an Email and a postal address are extracted from the same letter, the Email address takes priority and the document will be emailed.

SPF
Some recipient email servers may reject messages sent from Bing servers where an SPF TXT dns record has not been implemented.
Bing recommends that customers add the bingmail.com.au domain name (rather than our IP addresses) to any existing or new SPF TXT record. Full SPF configuration depends on your requirements but the example below shows how it might look.
