Capabilities
- Configurable coversheet.
- Fax in standard or fine resolution.
- Include custom data.
Prerequisites
In order to use fax as a document transport you need the following:

Fax Templates
The optional cover sheet template, or the static part of the cover sheet, can be any combination of text and graphics, A4 in size, and the text and data confined to the top 3rd of the page. The bottom two thirds are used for other cover sheet data.
Here is an example layout.

Page Limit restricts the number of pages to transmit. Set to 10 by default (including the cover sheet).
Tag Line appears at the very top of each fax page in small typeface. By default it contains send date and time, and page numbering (page x of y ). The Tag Line can include a mixture of static text and/or variable data.
The Cover Sheet Body is the body of the cover sheet and can include a mixture of static text and/or variable data.
Correlator is used to notify the mailing sender when a fax fails and contains variable data fields. In the result of a failure these fields are returned in an email notification sent to the email address supplied with the mailing.
Variable Data Fields:
Reference, Account ID, Department, Title/Subject, Destination Tel No., Postal Line 1, Postal Line 2, Full Postal Address, Submission Time.
Extracting Fax Numbers
To send to a fax address you must first include it in your document for extraction. The fax field looks for fax: and is case insensitive. Data after this marker is extracted and used as the fax address.
